Cotton Teeth is the new cd by grassroots folk-rock band The Snake The Cross The Crown. Imagine if Iron & Wine and Matt Pond PA had an illegitimate bastard band-child. They even have beards.
Cotton Teeth is one of the best overall discs I’ve listened to this year. Check out this hodge-podge of a video that sums up what they’re all about.

Matt Pond PA’s new 5-song EP If You Want Blood is now available…and is just as incredible as most everything else they release. Several Arrows Later, their last cd, is still one of the top playlists on my iPod. They are an incredible band; one of my favorite newer bands period.
